Bank Accounts
Owning a property or living in Cyprus has always required
the opening of a Local Disbursement Account with a local bank.
Although EU entry may remove such a requirement we would still
recommend for simplicity that you open a local account since
Cyprus has not yet adopted the euro (due in 2007). Any of
the local banks will open an account for you. They are:

- Co-operative Central Bank Ltd
- Hellenic Bank Ltd
- LAIKI Bank Ltd
- Universal Savings Bank Ltd
