Buy to Let
Buy-to-let (or Jet-to-let as it is now being known abroad)
offers a number of complications and additional risks compared
to purchasing at home. However we do not consider these are
significant in Cyprus and would not as a rule advise against
the idea. Mortgages are available both in the UK and in Cyprus
(and from a few other European banks) although the interest
rates and the deposits do vary considerably.
Like any investment (and this classes as an investment in
that you expect to make money from it!) it should be tailored
to individual circumstances. We would recommend that you always
seek independent financial advice before committing to such
a purchase, and we can recommend some Independent Financial
